Doing the front stoppers....

I really really want a 4 post lift inthe garage. This is by far and away the most infuriating job I've ever had to do. Nothing complicated, just so much faffing about with 20 different spanners and files. And crawling about on the underside trying to find out where they hid the other end of the hose.

We'll see how it goes, I'm not sure the discs have gone 100% flat on the hubs. I guess it'll let me know by warping them if it's not right.

Oh, and my not so bright assistant failed to keep his eye on the fluid res when I was changing it and I may well have air in the valve block, which takes a long time to clear out.

Then I've may have to mess about with a spacer under the wheel to clear the caliper a bit better.

Those shock absorbers look bent. Lol.

And as for the lift.. Doesn't help when you've got gravel to sink into does it, lol.. Have that problem on my drive way

Front shockers are next on the list. Just gotta gather some cash because of 4x4 tax. Same shocks, slightly different mounts, twice the price.

Still, I've got cossie brakes now.... just need to get an engine sorted so it can get to a speed worth slowing down from

Yeah, all 125bhp of it. Unbeliveable in corners but all the go of a 1.8 mondeo in a stright line.

I keep threatning to get the V6 estate back on the road running novas over, but HSBC say otherwise.

RWD aren't they, Sierras? When they're not 4WD that is.. Stick the V6 in the above hatch or just fix the estate.. Whichever's easiest

Yep, RWD with IRS.

Actually, I delibarately went 2L with the hatch on account of the estate doing regular sub 20s in the MPG department. Doesn't stop me threatning to supercharge it

Yeah, number 3. Although the 1st one is no longer with me (did near 5 years bouncing off the limiter ).

Not so much for the hell of it either. They are stupidly cheap, but even trying to spend more I couldn't find a car that did it for me. Mainly tried Audi 100/A6s last time but they feel so cumbersome in comparison.

TT did sell turbo conversions for that engine. 180bhp or there abouts with no alterations to the engine other than bolting a snail onto it and fueling/spark.

How much was the hatch? Miles? Not that it makes much odds, Sierras all have hundreds of thousands on them, lol.

85K on it. Garaged and mothered untill I got hold of it.

I'm still angling to get it garaged again before it starts with the ford-rot.
