Stunning, absolutely awsome performance.
But OMG you should have got a Sport, it's most definately worth the extra, if only becuase the bodykit fixes the E60's awkward looks.

I am no big fan of deisils either but the 535d is a work of art.
When a 5 series gave a good fight up to 130 on a long stretch of private race track i thought it must have been an M5 playing with me - but low and behold it said 535D on the back - wtf a deisil? I had to look it up on the internet - (though I bet you dont get 45mpg anymore @ 350bhp)

That engine is one engine that makes me love diesels, and the ungodly amounts of power it has to offerI am jealous.... 413 ft/lb... God damn.. I don't care if that car has the ugliest headlights known to man, I'd rock it hard

It's a good choice and feel lucky .. very luckybeen driving round in hire cars for past 2 years and now I get my baby. I like the look of the 5 series and in black will be nice me thinks.

..and remember to stick to the BMW lane on the motorway - it's the one on the right and don't worry if the two inside lanes are empty you don't need to pull over

506ft lbs @ 2500rpm, that must be pretty insane to drive!
I seem to remember though that someone posted a dyno graph from one of these engines and it was something like:
2499rpm = 100lb/ft
2500rpm = 500lb/ft
2501rpm = 100lb/ft
