It's mad because I got some quotes through Confused for Jon's Laguna, P reg 1.8 and it was £100 cheaper than what they wanted from Jon, it was £345 for a year TPFT, that was with me putting down that I had no no claims and held a License for under a year.... Jon has 4 years no-claims.

I'm with AA at the moment, and my wife is with ASDA.

She's trying to get a repair sorted at the moment though, and ASDA haven't been accepting calls for the last couple of days though - just an automated message about an emergency...

Don't know what kind of emergency, but the fact that they can't get even a cut down operation back up after several days doesn't bode well as far as I'm concerned.

I've been with Direct Line for the past three years and have still not yet found anyone cheaper for me. I've had one no-fault claim during that time, and they were very good sorting it out and pursuing the other party's insurance company for all costs.

Not sure how good they are with modified cars, but as mine isn't modified yet, I'll be sticking with them.

I'm with Liverpool Victoria on one of their old Modified vehicle policies that they don't do anymore.

After having Churchill (my insurer at the time) look after my claim when some numpty hit my car a few years back I will NEVER EVER let anyone from Churchill touch a car of mine again. or use them for insuring anything I own.

I'm currently with the RAC. They insured me with my girlfriend as a named driver cheaper than everyone else wanted for me alone! Only downside is they don't do monthly payments.

Admiral at the moment, renewal in November. They were the cheapest company I'd heard of when I sought this policy, but I'll be renewing with DirectLine, because they're cheap and my family has been with them for yonks

    We use Halifax.

We usually go onto Confused.com just before the policy is due for renewal to get the best price, then call Halifax. If they've ever been any more expensive they've always price matched.

Very happy with them, especially the roadside assistance. Essential for the missus as she uses the car for work. The roadside assistance policy that came with the car doesn't strictly cover call-outs for punctures but the Halifax one does.

Regarding Confused.com, every person I know of that's used it has ended up with cheaper policies. Either through switching insurer of haggling with their existing insurer with the prices they've got from Confused.

    wow!

I'm with Tesco and paying something stupid (like twice what you pay, but every month!) while we wait for our solicitors to tell them that we weren't liable for a crash in September last year!
