    as i said earlier tts look so dire without a roof and they most of the time look dire with a roof, but yours sir is a massive execption, awesome car, got any speed specs of it after the work?

    he had it sprayed himself. none of the 'normal' roadgoing tt's had a black roof (unless the car was black) as standard

    I'm sure theres a few other things ive missed off that list too.
    I've just had the timing belt, waterpump done too... aswell as a CV boot. Its all the little things that add up. Oil change is £50 ish. I'm doing the rear diff oil this weekend.

    Whys there so much plastic under the engine bay? Surely all it does is annoys mechanics and adds weight/increases fuel consumption

    Heres my engine without covers. I removed them before i took the car in to get the timing belt changed.
