Anybody know of any *online* decent places to look for cars? Apart from eBay and AutoTrader?
Thanks!
Those are the main two.
What sort of thing are you after? Budget? Maybe we can offer some suggestions.:)
Sure
Budget is a grand.. not much but oh well!, Looking at getting a Primera / Vectra / Mondeo. Don't complain about insurance its not a problem.
Well you seem to know what you're after, so go look at / test drive the nicest ones you can find in your local area
Thats the pain really though, theres not many around in my local area (from what I've seen online anyway), and I don't fancy travelling 100 miles each time to give a car a look at. AGH!
autoexposure.co.uk is good
carsource.co.uk uses a different database of cars
pistonheads.co.uk is very good - alot enthusiasts there that tend to have looked after their cars
there's also friday-ad.co.uk but the sellers might be a bit more iffy. Loot online, Exchange & Mart online etc would be other alternatives but I've no direct experience of them
Those are cheap to insure though :p
My cheapest quote last year was from a Proton 1.5 GLS (£780), but just as slow and grey on the inside.
Local adverts are best though imo. I dont know why there isnt more on ebay, but local papers definatly have the most adverts..
Yeah, going to start checking local papers, local garages, etc. Thanks davidstone28, will have a look at those.
Loot ?
Autotrader
Pistonheads
Exchange and mart
a little too late. :)
