Blackberry announce new model, the Tour

Research In Motion is adding another smartphone to its BlackBerry lineup as it aims to win market share among both executives and mainstream consumers despite tough economic conditions.

The new model is known as the BlackBerry Tour and falls somewhere between the BlackBerry Curve, which has proved very popular with consumers, and the BlackBerry Bold, which RIM has aimed at high-end corporate users.

Its literally looks like a Bold in a Curve casing with the way the keypad is (Bold style keys). I think they are releasing this due to the lack of 3G on the Curve, its damned slow when browsing the net I must admit but a great phone for everything else.

Doubt you will see many celebs changing their bold either just yet though. I did lol when i saw that link. Bit concerned with the amount of female celebs sporting the bold. Always notice it in the free london papers. Thinking i might have to go for some thing more diverse.... how long until the Gordon Gekko brick makes a come back

Yeah... i don' tthink there is anything new on that phone. old technology repackaged in a new case. lol.
