    Lee,

He said NOTHING to me but, fortunately, when I asked, it was clear that he had been highly amused (though, he was reluctant to admit it, thinking, for reasons I haven't fathomed, that humour is the preserve of the young!).

No.2 son (who is usually a lot more receptive to my stupidities) also got some big laughs out of it.

Oh, and the plantains were to go with the Thai green curry (with salmon and prawns) that No.1 son cooked last night.

    Deeeeeelicious!

But I thought the version with chicken he'd done the night before was actually better.

    PHP Code:

    truer words were never spoken....

    This be the verse

They **** you up, your mom and dad
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were ****ed up in their turn
By fools in old-stylen hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.

Man hands on misery to man
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can
And don't have any kids yourself.
