    How? P182 620w

I've been seeing people with the 4pin cable coming from the bottom of the p182 and going into the top hole on the mobo tray and reaching the 4pin socket, how are people doing this? For me the cable isnt long enough.

    Re: How? P182 620w

Depends on your PSU. My old akasa cheapish thingy didnt reach in the Antec900 (well just about with a series stretch that didn't fill me with confidence/joy) but the Antec900 has tonnes of space to spare! Worth checking when buying case/psu if the psu is base mounted (although I do prefer it as designs go...).

*edit : Most Antec cases have a screw system which allows you to mount the psu either way up. This may help a bit depending on your cable management.*

I have a P182 and HX620W. I'm using the 8 pin connector rather than the 4 pin and it reaches, just.

What motherboard are you using? Maybe the socket is just placed further away from the edge of your board.
    BadMonkey
    not further away, just smaller
