    Hx 520/620w

hey... so, i built a PC, but am not comfortable with my Hiper PSU, which i fear will blow on me if i want to add some of the components that i want to add in to my system...

basically, i wanna add a second HD3870 (Gecube X-Turbo III OC edition) to my rig in Xfire, and sawp out my OCed 2160 (3ghz) to a Q6600 at hopefully somewhere like 3.2 ghz - 3.6 at the most...

obviously the 620W is better, but will the baby 520W be able to serve my needs or do i have to save more???

also, i wanna put it in an Antec 900 if that makes any difference...

If you are going to add a second card and a quad, I would suggest the HX-620 or TX-750 just so you have some headroom.

I would recommend the HX620, just for the modular since you have an Antec 900

    Re: Hx 520/620w

I had a similar dilemma with my Hiper but went with the HX520 as it was enough for my needs. The Hiper I passed onto my sister blew up last week! i don't know whether to feel guilt or relief.
