Should i just go for 750 watts or save some more pocket money and get 1000 watts.

The 750 is plenty of power but, the HX-1000 is modular if you want that feature.
a 750w PSU would probably do the job, just make sure it has plenty of amperage on the 12v rail and you'll be okay..
and make sure it's no generic cheap crap either...
750W should be alright unless you want modular and sexy blue
edit - 3 posts in within 1 minute? lol
Lol...it's Corsair so it is certainly not cheap generic crap.

Thanks a lot guys, just spotted silverstone 750watts modular. think i might get it
forgot to mention im running swiftech water cooling as well
silverstone 750 watt modular psu = 117.49 got water cooling as mentioned plus 8 120mm fans and 4 80mm fans, just spoke to mate on phone he seems to think that i will need the 750 watts, just to be on the safe side. especially as i will be overclocking as well.
Thanks for your input, Its well appreciated!
Can the HX620W take it, though? I've heard amazing claims that it can...
Yes, we did it at CEBIT in JAN 2007.
