psu watts minimum for 8800gtx sli setup

Should i just go for 750 watts or save some more pocket money and get 1000 watts.

The 750 is plenty of power but, the HX-1000 is modular if you want that feature.

a 750w PSU would probably do the job, just make sure it has plenty of amperage on the 12v rail and you'll be okay..
and make sure it's no generic cheap crap either...

Which would be more than enough for GTX SLi without forking out for a 750W

    how much is that?
    as Blitzen has said..
the PSU i'm running will be more than capable, which i'm sure it will be..
that card will probably use about 200w max at full load and with a quad core and a few HDs and everything you still won't hit the 620w max..

silverstone 750 watt modular psu = 117.49 got water cooling as mentioned plus 8 120mm fans and 4 80mm fans, just spoke to mate on phone he seems to think that i will need the 750 watts, just to be on the safe side. especially as i will be overclocking as well.

Can the HX620W take it, though? I've heard amazing claims that it can...
