    Corsair Begins UK/EU RMA Processing

    CORSAIR BEGINS EU/UK RMA PROCESSING

As of June 13, 2008 Corsair is launching its EU/UK RMA processing service. This means it will no longer be necessary for customers in the EU/UK regions to return RMA items to the Corsair headquarters in the United States for RMA service. The Corsair TSX Express system will process the RMAs and provide the user with the proper shipping point in their region.

Well, we wanted to do it right and not just implement a hasty and incomplete or flawed solution.

Re: Corsair Begins UK/EU RMA Processing

Just to confirm, does this mean that UK customers post their RMAs to a UK address? Or do they post to an EU address?

Obviously this is important as there is a big difference in price for posting heavy items like PSUs, to either UK or EU addresses!

If it's any consolation, posting something light like RAM via Airmail (which I'm guessing you used) wouldn't be that much cheaper if it was going to Holland instead of the USA.

It was a parcel so Airmail was not an option I'm afraid

Anything under 2kg can go Airmail!

Yellowbeard: Could you confirm, does this mean that UK customers post their RMAs to a UK address? Or do they post to an EU address?

So you might aswell just buy a new PSU that has UK RMA coverage anyway.

Re: Corsair Begins UK/EU RMA Processing

I already have two Corsair power supplies that I'm very happy with and hopefully won't need to return. Personally I'm fine with returning them to Europe as they do have two more years warranty than most of the other manufacturers.

Very few offer a UK RMA service, although we still need to hear back from Corsair on where they will need to be sent to.

    Really? That's good news.

So it's not part of the time with Scan and then the rest direct with Corsair?

correct, if you look at the warranty details you'll see 60 months which is 5 years, I'm not aware of any other retailer doing this though.

Well yes, I spotted that but it is Corsair offering the 5 year warranty on their power supply products, not Scan.
