    MicroATX PSU?

Does Corsair offer a mATX PSU? Or does anyone know if one of the models are small enough to fit into a mATX case?

Planning to build a WHS/NAS. Would prefer a Corsair PSU if possible.

    Re: MicroATX PSU?

Should it matter. This is the case I'm considering for the WHS/NAS box: http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=839682

    Re: MicroATX PSU?

Looks like a standard ATX case to me, so I would have thought it takes an ATX PSU

    Re: MicroATX PSU?

Yeah it does say both ATX and mATX form factors for the case.

While I'm here. What wattage should I be looking at? It's gonna be a G43/G45 board from Asus. With a low end C2D. With atleast 3 x 1 TB HDDs (Data) and 1 x 160GB HD (OS) - all from Samsung. I'm thinking atleast 400W right?

Yeah it was a toss up between the 450VX or CX400W. Ended up going for the CX400W.

Thanks for all your help. I'm sure I'll be back to bug you both.

    get a PICOpsu they're tiny

external power brick, most of the psu is on the actual motherboard connector cable

www.linitx.com sell them, perfect for low powered MATX machines

get that and a Atom 300 board, and you've got a perfect file server

Yeah, I wouldn't trust that thing with my 6-7 year old PC. I'll stick to Corsair
