Need a little help for a psu

    Hi,
i have to buy a psu, and i am going with corsair.
Im just not sure about the wattage. My system is phenom 2 920, hd4850, 790gx chipset, 1 hdd, 1dvdrw, 3 fan (one with led), 4gb of corsair ddr2.

Do you think the vx450 is enough? or should i go with a vx550?
    Thanks

Personally i would go for the 550, the 450 would probably cope but err on the side of caution and to give you a bit of head room for upgrades etc.

I'd definitely go for the 550. As Mac says it gives you more headroom for upgrades, plus it should give you better efficiency as it'll be operating further below maximum output. Should also mean it generates less heat, which is always good

We also have a PSU finder on our home page. You can plug in your system specifications and get a good recommendation there.
