    HX520 SATA power cables

    Hiya Corsair folks

I got a HX520 here recently delivered but I do have a slight problem. Number of SATA power connectors.

I have 4 SATA devices; 3 HDDs and 1 DVD drive. My problem is due to the distance between the HDDs and the DVD drive I can only realistically power 3 devices...either all 3 HDDs or 2 HDDs and the DVD drive.

Does Corsair supply a modular SATA cable that has 3 SATA power connectors on one cable? This will solve all my problems If not, could Corsair show me how to get another SATA modular cable?

    Ta very muchly in advance.

According to yellowbeard, use this link http://forums.hexus.net/1328919-post1.html

as all of the cables are sourced from the same place therefore tis the same link...

    Re: HX520 SATA power cables

I also found this with my HX520, the SATA cables only have 2 connectors close to the end of the long cable, do you do any other cables, so I can use 1 cable to power 1 device, although they're far apart, rather than having to use 2?

    Re: HX520 SATA power cables

You can request the 1x3 modular SATA power cable, they exist because the HX620 comes with 2 of them along with a 1x2 SATA power cable for total 8 SATA devices.

I do recall some talk about 1x4 SATA power cable, not sure if that really exists.

Didn't know I could request more of those cables! Currently using the one with the three SATA power connectors on them.

Is it the link that TAKTAK posted to request more cables?
