780T fan controller not working, any ideas?

I just bought a new 780T from scan, and having spent my time on the build, filling the watercooling loop routing the cables etc. I turned it on for the first time to find that the fans were not spinning. Having connected the controller to a different PSU to rule out a bad SATA power connector on the PSU side, and removing all but one of the fans I have come to the conclusion that the controller is at fault.

I've submitted a support ticket, but can anyone think of a way of sorting this without an RMA, as coolant and hosing are expensive, and I wont have the time to rebuild until this time next month.
