    Help with 620w PSU :(

Hey guys, i recently bought the corsair 620w PSU for my new BFG 8800 GTX card because i needed more power and PCIE connectors as my older NXZT 500w PSU had none and not enough molex connectors for it.

However when i connected everything up i cannot get a boot or a connection from my monitor to graphics card and there is no power going into my keyboard, i cannot hear any boot noises either. The computer itself all turns on (fans, lights, dvd drives ect). I thought it was my card at first so i RMA'd it to BFG they say its fine. Could i have a faulty psu?.

edit: ( i have the exact same problem as Moogle does on another thread in this forum)

    My system is
    ASUS A8R MVP mobo
    AMD 64 x2 4600
    BFG 8800 GTX OC
    1 Gig Geil Ram
    Fatal1ty Sound Card
    1x DVD-Rewriter
    1x DVD-ROM
    1x 250 GB HD
    Corsair 620w PSU

If you got the same probs as me and you followed my thread all the way through then you might have a faulty corsair one. The new one that came is working in my pc right now.

I would try posting the system with only the CPU, memory, and video card installed and, try it outside the case. If this does not work, I'd suggest an RMA for a replacement PSU.

Look in the manual and find the jumper for resetting or clearing the CMOS. Pull the power cord from the PSU and move the jumper to the reset position for about 10-15 seconds. Move the jumper back, plug PSU back in, and reboot.

No, that little blue piece of plastic is called a jumper block. And, simply removing it will not reset your bios. Find the section in your manual and it will explain the 2 positions.
