Silverstone TJ09 vs Lian Li OC-A10B, which would you choose and why?

Ok well this isn't urgent in a "if I don't get the case this second my family will die a slow and agonising death" kind of way, but it's been eating me up for a few days now and I need some advice and opinions. Basically I am deciding between these two cases:

PRO's

• The slideable mobo tray is awesome, can remove it with a TT 120 fitted.
• Cooling potential very good.
• Numerous vents on the side of the case and also a mesh below the PSU to for it to draw in fresh air. Nice.
• Will accept any size PSU.
• Accepts 5x 120mm fans.
• Looks make me want to do a sex-wee.
• Excellent rigidity.

CON's

• May be more subsceptible to dust due to the multiple vents.
• May be a bit noisier than the Lian Li due to the vents being next to the HD's.
• I'm not crazy about the HD setup, but it's only a minor gripe.
• Cable routing may be tougher.
• Not quite as tool-less as the Lian Li.

PRO's

• Beautiful classic design and finish, oozes quality.
• Good sound-proofing compared to the TJ09.
• Looks very easy to work with.
• Dual PSU! Doesn't fit larger PSU's though eg: Enermax Galaxy and considering i'll likely never use dual PSU's that could (will) be a problem for large single units.

CON's

• Cooling may not be quite as good as the TJ09.
• Has a door. I don't like doors, they just get in the way.

Now, both of these cases have their strong points and are VERY highly rated... in fact the Lian Li was the first case ever to receive a 10/10 from CASE.CLOSED (they haven't reviewed the TJ09 yet though). From the looks of things they are both made equally as well as each-other in terms of BQ, the only real differences are in functionality and design. Both are roughly £170 so price is not an issue.

I have actually just purchased an Enermax Galaxy 850w and I know the Lian Li will not fit this, but it's not really a problem as if I did get the Lian Li then i'd simply sell the PSU (I got it for a crazy cheap price so I will lose nothing) and buy one that does fit.

I am really stuck over which one to get... the TJ09 has some features I really like (the tray, well-placed vents), and definately has better cooling capacity (imo) than the Lian Li, whereas the Lian Li is better for sound-proofing and more user-friendly, and has a pretty much flawlessly functional design. I am leaning towards the TJ09 but the Lian Li really catches my eye too...

Please give valid reasons and try and be as objective as possible.

The GPU cooling vent is removable, but it's a real beggar to get it out. Pretty much everything else has to come out first. The 8800GTX only just fits, but it does 'just' fit.

Have you considered the Lian Li G70 or V2000? They are also big, just under £200 and well made. No problems with the 8800GTX either.

Two very nice cases the TJ07 and 09.......

If you were trying to judge the 2 purely on the looks, then the 07 would win hands down, with the curved aluminium single piece fascia.......looks great.

However, I think that (imho) the TJ09 is the better of the two cases, with the more classic looks, the unique approach to cooling (seperate HD bays entirely, and the GPU cooling duct) and the slightly smaller overall dimensions and weight.

However, let's be honest, either one is going to be a great case for a system, so go with either, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Yep but then I am biased. I have 2 inch space between the end of the 8800GTX and the 5.25 bay holders. The GPU extraction fan is easy to remove if you wish to reduce noise. Cooling is excellent
Case is running at 27deg as i type. 2 big provisions though:
1 the postion of the PSU and an 8 pin Aux connector means you will run that cable over and around to fit to the top of the board but that will be the case with any bottom postioned PSU. My Epsilon cable fit fine without an extender.
2: Case fans running full wack they are noisy so I intend to replace them with the Noctua at some point.
Other than that the build quality is brilliant. Very easy to work on.

Nope it wont 223.5mm from end of case to the HDD Rack. When you add in the modular cables it wont fit. Sorry to be the bearer of sad tidings.

Hmm... uess I either keep the Enermax and go with the TJ09... or gswap it for a Silverstone DA750 and get the Lian Li...

I'm really not sure which case to go for... both look so good...

They both look very nice so I can't give an opinion based on looks

If I were choosing I would most likely base decision on price - whichever is cheaper would get my vote. Or the quietest one.
