    6MM internal diameter clear tubing?

Does anyone know anywhere that sells reasonably priced clear, unbraided, non uv tubing with 6mm (1/4") internal diameter, outer diameter around 8mm ish.

I can only find thecoolingshop, but they want £2 per foot, and that is just ridiculous!

    Need about 2M

    Thanks

blimey, just saw the price of it too!!

only two other places that sell ac gear in the uk that I know of are aqua-pcs and left clicks, though they are generally the same sorta price as kustom.

Going to sound like an odd place to look, but B&Q have a fair pipe collection, got some larger stuff from there a few years ago.

Slighly cheaper at aqua-pcs @ £1.40+vat per foot! or £3.00 plus vat per metre for the plug and cool stuff.

    Cheers all the same mate

Scrap this, I have made a monumental balls up in the barb sizes.

I also have 2 similar, but different sized barbs wich doesnt help.

I'm not entirely sure what size I need now, the inner diameter of the barbs are 1/4" which = 6.25mm, but if I measure the outside of the barbs, I'm not sure if the measurement should be for the widest part of the barb or the narrowest.

Time to email Over-clock I think.

If it doesn't fit, why not make it fit by boiling the tubes in water?

I think you stretch the the tube of the smallest part onto the biggest. Smaller=snugger fit.
But don't quote me on that.

Nah, these are 2 different sizes altogether. One size would be too big for one of them, and the other would be too small for the other.

does the tube stretch a bit?
Does the barb have a step-up? If it has a step up i would guess its the larger part, but if its coned gradually then smaller.

The tubing I ended up with was completely wrong, also, I ordered some f connectors, but the small barbs on them are a different size to the other small barbs on the other stuff.

You want tubing very slightly smaller than outside of the barb. It should be tight fit (heat with hot water to fit if needed).
