Anyone got a Silverstone TJ09 case?

Got a query, when installing the PSU in this case is the PSU fan supposed to be facing upwards or downwards?

The backplate, when installing the PSU, seems to imply installing the PSU upside down with the fan facing upwards drawing hot air from the case. Is this correct or should it be installed with the fan drawing air from outside through the mesh vent in the bottom of the case?

Is there a preference? Any thoughts wold be appreciated..

Yup, providing there is a place for it to suck air from, have it facing downwards. Let the rest of the fans take care of providing a clear path for air in the rest of the case. Having the fan face upwards will just interfere with the flow and cause turbulence.
