What kind of paint is this?

I'm trying to find out what kind of paint this is that has been used to mod this case. Is it matte or gloss?

I want this kinda finish on my case, what should I get?

It would pretty hard to get a finish like that at home. Powder coating is not expensive. Have a look in the yellow pages for a powder coater in your area.

You'd need to strip the case down to get the right finish as well.

The interior (black) is powder coat (about £100) and the blue is anodised (for aluminium only) and is about £120 !!! Nice though !!

£100 for the labour? I should be able to do it for much cheaper than that, my sisters fiance and my dad have all the equipment!

Sounds ideal !! I think you can powdercoat different materials but anodising is for Aluminium !! Could be a cheap solution (and a good finish) for your project ?

Looks similar to the paint on mine (except the shade) which is Skyline Blue.

I'm gonna take a trip over to halfords tomorrow and see what I can get, I'll keep an eye out for that eggshell black. I think the cans are around £6 each that about the right price?
