    power thingamajig

As Im gettin pretty close to my watercooling system, there is one thing I cant fathom. When I do a leak test or Im filling the loop in my system, how do I get the pump to turn on without turning the pc on and off for a few seconds? Cos when u filling the loop u have to do it bit by bit, and turning it on and off like that cud cause some issues. Is there some kind of electrical device I can buy that will power my pump so I can do this(with a plug that will fit the pump plug ie 12v)? I wudnt know really where to start lookin or what it wud be called

Personally I just jump start the psu by shorting two of the pins (cant remember though) and just plug and unplugging the pump till the loop was filled then connected up everything else.

Get a seperate psu plug only your pump and radiator fans into it. Or use the one in the pc. Make sure everything is unplugged except for the pump and radiator fans(if there is any)
Use a paperclip or a short piece of insulated wire bared at bothe end and short the green wire(that is the fourth one) and a black wire(I use the sixth one) on the 20/24 pin motherboard connector.
    Turn the psu on.
    Now run it overnight.
Do not leak test with a live motherboard.
