    Where to buy 7in Touchscreens

    Just wondering where I can buy a 7inch touchscreen TFT (that I could put inside a SFF case, for a portable case, or in a car din socket for a carputer project that I'm currently thinking of...)

    P.S. Preferably these will be the slide out and fip up style ones.

    Through friends recommendations, I found:
    * ebay
    * linitx.com

    but their range is too small and limited.

    Secondly, how much bigger is a standard DIN car socket than say a 5.25" computer case slot (i.e. how big a hole will I have to make?) I could check my car, but its pouring down so I'm sitting comfortably in my computer chair!

    Woohoo now Assistant Manager!

    A DIN is 180x50mm

    I was going to suggest linitx.com, can't think of any others right now

    EDIT: google for 'car pc' looks like loads of places to hunt for things.

    Could google, but I prefer going with user reviews over which shops are trustworthy, and in this instance offer the best support for when I need to interface the screen to a PC.
