The whole etching question

Ok so I did run a search on etching and some people said use a dremel or look at koolpcmods. KoolPCMods from what I can tell exists no more.

So I need to find a nice easy and painless way on how to put a etched design onto a window for my case. Is there anyone UK based that does this or is it easier to do it ones self? If the latter does anyone know of any good guides to follow?

Some people may want to use the Dremel Rotary Tool with the flex arm, which is fine and dandy, but I prefer to use an etcher. In my opinion you have much greater control with the etcher. The Dremel Rotary Tool doesn't have the ability to do the extremely small details like the etcher does. An inexperienced, or experienced, hand will find the dremel loves to run away on it own, simply because of it's rotary nature.

Think of the Dremel Rotary as a Sharpie, and the etcher as a sharpened pencil. That'll give you an idea of how different the results will be.

So yes a dremel but a specific etching tool from dremel, not the usual rotary tool commonly referred to as "a dremel"

Ill probably go along to B&Q or some DIY shop to see what materials I can pickup.

Alternatively www.kustompcs.co.uk supply decals that provide an etched look for your case window. I can testify they're very good as I've just taken delivery of some with my PC.

Only small downside is I accidentally ordered them instead of what I meant to order!
