    Need some suggestions for case

    Hi there,

I would like some help and suggestions for cases that will suit my need.

My previous case was Thermaltake Xaser 3 V1000D. I quite liked its design with the HDD spacing which is facing in the direction of the side panel of case and has rails for easy removals. However the weight of the case and noise are the issues with the case. Otherwise I liked it.

Basically my requirement is as follows: 6 internal 3.5" HDD spaces with similar style to the above (4 HDDs space can be considered), good air flow circulation and quiet, lighter case (less than 10kg - without all the components, lighter the better), space availiability for possible later addition of water cooling kit.

I'm currently thinking of purchasing another thermaltake case but other suggestions are welcome.

My system setup is quite old but here are the spec:
    Abit IC7-Max3 MB
    P4 3GHz with HT
    2gb Corsair DDR XMS
    Asus 9800XT 256mb
    Seasonic 600W
    6x SATA HDDs

I hope someone could give me some suggestions, thanks in advance Jun.

I think you want to look at aluminium cases if you want light weight, however they are far more expensive.
With 6 HDD bays, you're probably looking at full tower.

While it's not got the internal bays through 90 dregrees, it is extra wide and the internal bays are off set for eaiser access.

Not really sure though, best bet is to go look at case manufactors web sites, find some likely candidates then ask what peopel think of them/have they used one.

How the hell are you meant to find stuff like that on the site? - I wanted to look to see what other lian-li cases they had, but I can't even find that case in any category, and when I search lian li or Lian-Li or just lian it finds nothing!

I know, theyve randomly hidden it, but hey that means that not many people will buy it so when I get enough money it's sure to be in stock
