Decent fan controllers

I'm after some nice simple fan controllers for my new pc, must be black to match the looks of the case! and preferable have some sort of molex extenders so i can tuck all the cables behind the motherboard tray.

What do you guys recommend? I don't want to spend ridiculous ammounts of money

is what ive got although it only takes 3pin connections but the cables are very long and it comes with interchangable front bezels (silver,black and white) so it can stay with you if you change your case.

akasa fan control pro, nice bit of kit.... i love mine like 10 differnt colours for the display, 4 different metal bezels or something... and controls 4 fans, hexus did a review time ago, have a read

Another one for the Sunbeam. Not the greatest looking fan controller, but it is probably the best as far as control goes.

I have the scythe one, and it looks great, but the actual control of the fans is rubbish, theres a lag/delay, and bizarrely, it will only let you go down to around 660rpm, so no good if you want to turn off the fans. Another strange thing was that I have the same fans on each channel, and each channel has a different minimum rpm, and also a different maximum rpm

I have heard nothing but good things about it. In fact I have just bought one myself. Waiting for it to arrive.

Zalman ZM-MFC2 gets my vote. Excellent build quality. Mainly black with a bit off silver. Been using mine for a week. Very pleased with it. You can use multiple fans per channel. The only thing about it I dont like is there is no option to turn the fan off completely but at minimum RPM you cant hear them anyway.

I dont know if your posting this because of the knob on the Zalman. Anyway just to clarify the knob on the Zalman is not to control the volume. It is used to control the fan speed.

I have also been looking for a decent fan controller, and the Zalman looks quite cool, anyhow where can you buy one of these? I have checked yo yo tech and other various websites and everyone seems to be out of stock.

I couldnt find it in stock anywhere either. Ended up buying it from Ebay. A few PC shops are advertising them on Ebay and have stock. Just message the seller to confirm it is in stock before buying.

Edit: Had a look at the ones I I had saved in My Ebay and thay have all been sold. None currently on Ebay.

I still say the old zalman fan controllers are better.

And I still say that the Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus is better, basicly the same but replaces the 2 12v/5v switches with adjustable knobs and the knobs have position marks on them that the original didn't.

But looking at that ZM-MFC2, that's a lovely beastie

EDIT: Oh and all the Zalman fan ontrollers use a min fan speed not an off position, the reason is a safety feature, so if you plug your cpu or graphics card fan in you cannot accedently turn it off and cook your cpu/gpu
