Akasa Zen and Coolermaster Centurion 5 (T05)

Which of these two has better internal airflow and ventilation, and also places for further additional fans (+sizes)?

    Coolermaster Centurion 5: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/produ...oductID=156451
*I noticed that there are two versions of this case, one with a single horizontal vent and one with two vents (a duct on the other side of top vent).

I've built a system in the Zen - almost no ventilation at the front for intake. Does have one intake and one exhaust 120mm fan though.

It does have the cpu duct and graphic card grill on the side of the case if I remember correctly.

    No experience of the Centurion.

I built using the zen, i would say the cooling is reasonable.
The hole for the front intake is a reasonable size.
Although the case has a cheap feel to it you get 120mm fans front and back.
If your looking for a case thats cheap with reasonable airflow you can't go wrong, but if you do go for it.
If your gonna be overclocking heavily you may want to look at somthing else thogh.

P.S. if i remember rightly it's a good idea to fit the cd drives before the PSU.

Cooling in the centurion is good. I had one for a while and was quite pleased with it. The whole front is mesh with dust filter behind it, so airflow is pretty high, good build quality, and tool-less drive bays too.

I have a Centurion 5 as well, I was quite happy with it, but only thing that I hated about it was the 'toolless' assembly bollocks. Whoever thought toolless assembly was a neat idea needs shot.

    hello,
ive got a Centurion 5 and the 80mil fan at the front can be mega noisy at times.

plus the front panel is hard to take off.

I'd like to add that the cpu air duct can be removed and a 80mm fan fitted on every case I've found so far.
Also an 80mm fan can useally be fitted to the lower vent, although at a slight angle and only held in with 3 screws.

Old PSUs can be good sources for quite 80mm fans

All you need is a quiet 80mm fan, like a silenX or something. Plus you don't really need a fan in there if you can fit a 120mm in higher up
