Lina-Li no where to be found...

    Heya

I'm after either a Lian-Li PC-76 or PC-78 to use as a file server, but I can't find them anywhere in the UK. E-mailed Lian-LI and a few sales web-sites but no-ones gotten back to me. Wondering if any of you know where I could ge one from or perhaps could recommend a better one.

    Steve

Might I ask what you want such a monster of a case for? Don't get me wrong - I like them - especially the PC-78... Just wondered what you need all that space for.

There is a uk supplier of the 78, I've seen it before. Price was around £450 I think.

I'll find the website later, and stick it up here

Yep, got 8 drives that require at least some form of active cooling, so yeah, I NEED a case that large, but at £450 I NEED some more money too...

    Thanx tho'

read a review a few weeks back on that case and it is said to have serious cooling problems. The rear out-take fan in right about the CPU cooler (in-take). A few other airflow problems were highlighted, but yeah, it won't be an OC'd machine so I guess that would be OK... Thanx for the info Gordy, and yeah, seen the Lian-Li's for about 250-300 dollars, just it costs about 200 dollars to get them shipped over to the UK!

It was one of the few I was considering, then I decided that for the extra it would cost me I could keep my old system and keep 2 computers

It looks very nice anyway, dont forget to post some pics of it when you get your mits on it

will do... although don't expect it to be modded, some LED fans are as far as I'm gonna go, it'll just sit somewhere in my house, hopefully in a soundproof room, it won't be quiet...

    Thanx matey
