Hi,
Moving away from owning Dells for the last few years and about to do my first every build! Having used PCs (s/w developer and gamer) for twenty years I'm confident about my component choice (P5K-E, E6750, 8800GTS, Corsair 620w PSU, one Samsung 500GB HDD, 2 DVDs, 1 FDD) but not so confident about the case!
I'm probably going to go for the Antec P182, but my only reservations are it might be a tight fit and therefore a little difficult for a first time builder. Replaced plenty of graphic cards and sound cards before, and a CPU (p4), and not worried about the electrical parts of the build (connecting components etc). It's the assembling in to the case which makes me wonder if the P182 is a good case for a first time builder?
My other question is about fitting in a larger graphics card at some point. I'm going for the 8800GTS and anticipating upgrading to 9-series nVidia in a few months. If they are GTX size then I'm concerned about it not fitting. Which drive bay is it that cannot be used if a GTX is fitted? Is it an external one or internal one?
Cheers,
Dave
