    antec 900

Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case

sounds perfect for you bar room for the card reader, you would need to adapt one of the 5.25" bays.

Good for a quiet build, amazing airflow.

Agree totally with staffsMike, it doesn't half shift the air through and not too noisy.

Re: Which Case Should I Buy ?

Another agreement for the Antec 900 it's a nice case.
It does come witha 3.5" caddy and front plate so you don't need any extra bit to fit a 3.5" floopy/card reader.

The Coolermaster 690 would be another one to look at, not quite as large but still pritty roomy, good screwless design, good cooling (I'd advise getting two extra 120mm fans for the top, however it can be a bit tight with a large aftermarket heatsink at the top) nice cable management and slightly cheaper.
Although I think I rate the Antec 900 slightly above the CM 690, the CM 690 is still a good alternative.

Re: Which Case Should I Buy ?

I don't think you can turn them off.

There's a few ways of either covering them up or dispatching of them all together (mostly breaking them ).

You could replace them though. Two fans should only be an extra £10 - £15

The P182 is a fantastic case though if you want more subtle looks. It's silent and cools extremely well with its chambered design.

Re: Which Case Should I Buy ?

If you don't want the led fans, you could replace them with these :-
Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK
    very quiet and good value.
    or this one :-
Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK
not as quiet but higher rpm.
    Cave canem!

Re: Which Case Should I Buy ?

just seen this thread - h**p://w*w.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=126395A

i like the looks of even tidier 'cablegami' but i never used a dremel...

how hard would it be to cut few holes ?

anyone now a good website for cableties/zipties & cable sleeving ?

as for fans i think i'll go for Scythe S-FLEX 1600RPM(28 dBA - 63.7 CFM
, they look better when compared to tri-cool fan running on medium(27 dBA - 53 CFM)

yep thats a good choice. I had my hard drives running at 20c Max in that case, during summer they'd go 25 max, in winter they'd go down to temps of 10, perfect cooling.

Re: Which Case Should I Buy ?

Can't comment on any other cases but I recently bought a Thermaltake Kandalf case and am very pleased with it. Big (as in very long!) but made from aluminium so it's not too heavy. It has plenty of space for hard drives and whatever else you want to put in it all using toolless clips. It comes complete with a 12cm fan and has other fan mounting points as well so it'll shift the air you need to keep everything cool.
