The 3870 should be a very similar size to that guys x1800 so should fit fine but, why this and not any other case? The coolermaster case in the same price bracket seems better.
Well, tbh, I'm having a really tough time deciding on the case. It's one big cycle of Aesthetics Vs. Coooling Vs. Silence Vs. Size.
Yet to decide on the perfect one for me.
Came across this and I must admit, it seems like a really good case. Brushed edges, quiet (accoring to the review), small in size, aluminium front, touch-sensitive buttons, partly tool-less.
But as I haven't heard of them, it makes it a risky purchase.
I've heard of them though they are better know abroad.
I'm very biased towards silence as you know from the other thread, but that said it looks alright.
Looks ok as a basic cheap fuctional case.
I like the 90degree twist on the hard drive cage, alway nice for removeing hard drives without haveing to remove the graphics card and such to get them in and out.
Shouldn't have much problems with a HD3870 fitting
I found a review of the I-Curve+ (It's the same case just has an added temp and fan speed LCD pannel)
Aerocool iCurve Plus Mid Tower
That's got a better angle of how much space there is with a motherboard in it.
Big question is going to be the cost, is it worth it over something like the Antec NSK6000 or Akasa Zen which are very simular inside.
