*** Game system building advice plez ***
Hey guys, so here's the story,
current system is:
soprano thermaltake case
asus p5-n32 sli mobo
core2duo e6400
2gb corsair xms pc6400
2x Geforce 7600gt in sli
x-fi fatal1ty sound card
550wt psu and all the usual dvd and hard drives
_______________________________________________________________
wanting to build a system from scratch (flogging this one) but i've noticed some problems. namely space. the soprano case has dimensions off width: 21cm, height 49.5cm, depth 47.8cm.
herein lyes the problem because with two sli cards, the x-fi & a few hard drives it's just a little cluttered so a bit more depth would be great as i'm probably gonna go for a new geforce 9800 gx2
found a case Thermaltake Eureka Full Tower EATX with dimensions w:20.5cm, h:54cm, d:65cm.
can anyone recommend it or another one?
and finally, here's the spec of what i'm putting together, can you chaps tell me off any problems or recommendations...
Thermaltake Eureka Full Tower EATX Case
CoolerMaster 620W REAL POWER PRO MODULAR PSU
Asustek S775 nForce 780i DDR2 ATX Audio Lan
Intel Q6600
4GB OCZ Technology 2X2GBKIT REAPER 240PIN PC2-6400 DDR2 800MHZ
XFX GeForce 9800GX2 1GB PCIE 2xDVI 2xGPU DDR3 VGA
Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty
3x Samsung 1TB 7200RPM 32MB S300 3.5" in raid array ( Already have 2)
Pioneer BDR-202BK BluRay black bare SATA
Optiarc 20X DVD+/-RW/12X RAM SATA LIGHTSCRIBE BLACK
Hope you's can tell me if there's anything stupid here or if i should go for different parts.
Thanks lots guys!

It's a good start but i would make changes
Thermaltake Eureka Full Tower EATX Case -not sure about this case but I have an akasa eclipse which is EATX and thus is huge inside, great case to. If you are willing to remove one hard drive bay (still gives space for 3 drives) you could get an antec P182 :)
CoolerMaster 620W REAL POWER PRO MODULAR PSU - I would change this to a corsair 620W HX, great power supply :)
Asustek S775 nForce 780i DDR2 ATX Audio Lan -If you really want and need an SLi board the 790i might be better long term, I would get a single graphics motherboard though especially if you are getting something as good as a GX2 or does a GX2 still need Sli hmmmm?
Intel Q6600 -great chip :)
4GB OCZ Technology 2X2GBKIT REAPER 240PIN PC2-6400 DDR2 800MHZ - Wouldn't go with a reaper set, go for something with standard heat spreaders, ocz platinum, geil black dragon etc..
XFX GeForce 9800GX2 1GB PCIE 2xDVI 2xGPU DDR3 VGA - phwooooooar!
Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty i'd personally save money and use onboard, also most people here hates creative now over their vista driver business.
3x Samsung 1TB 7200RPM 32MB S300 3.5" in raid array ( Already have 2) lol nice!!
Pioneer BDR-202BK BluRay black bare SATA
Optiarc 20X DVD+/-RW/12X RAM SATA LIGHTSCRIBE BLACK

My thoughts in bold.
What cpu HSF are you thing about getting?
Re: *** Game system building advice plez ***
already have a thermalright IFX-14 Inferno Fire eXtinguisher with HR-10 cooler
also, already have the x-fi because my onbaord was suffering from a common crackling problem.
had looked at the corsair psu, sounds good. will check out the ram and board here.
cheers

oh, also, on my heat sink i have 2 120mm fans (akasa i think)
is this a bit over kill cause that makes one on the back, side, front and them.
cheers
