    Keyboard Mod Question

    Hi
I got a problem. I'm about to mod my keyboard a bit by painting it Black and Chrome. I have found a tiny problem though. If I paint over the keys the letters will not show up. I thought about re painting them but my painting skills arnt very good (not for precise things like letters) and I still want to keep my black and chrome look so stickers are out. Any help would be greatly appreciated

if you can touch type, i guess you could draw round sections of keys (e.g. alphabetic, numeric, punctuation) and that may help.

other that that, i can only suggest stickers....

Remove all the keys, spray paint your keyboard, and then spray paint each key individually. Time consuming and pointless tbh

    Cheers dgr
I can touch type so I might aswell go for it.
I'll put my EL wire around punctuation and stuff just leaving the alphabetic keys.
    Cheers

what about going to a hobby/craft shop and getting a fine point glue pen? then just trace the letters/symbols on each key, spray the lot then pull off the glue, leaving the keys untouched by the paint?

smart but very time consuming... You could get some decal paper and print your own stuff up, once you get the right size...
