    Quick Question

Does anyone know where I can get square motherboard mounting clips? Im not exactly sure what they are called but it looks like the case I have needs little square clip things that the motherboard can sit on and then be screwed on top of.

Any help appreciated as I wont be able to use the case if I cant get these

    Thanks.

Sure you don't meam standoffs? The little bronze coloured feet which screw into your m/b tray? I used to have some kind of clip system in my old case but I just threw that out, they don't sound like the ones I had anyway...

Hmm no don’t think so, its odd iv not seen square clip things on a case before like that... I managed to find the box but there is no manufacturer just says from Korea so Nest must have been a 1 off case or something. I thought there might be a universal thing that motherboards are sometimes mounted with like little square things rather than the normal screw things.

Thanks for your help and if anyone has any spares would be much appreciated!

Hmmm, where'd you get the case?
Are there any screw holes on the m/b tray because if there are you could just use stand offs

Got the case from www.tekheads.co.uk however they no longer stock it.. Iv emailed them but no reply yet.

Nope has no screw holes is quite an odd design, just sqaure things that things fit in instead lol.

    Thats weird
You could always look the company up on the net, see if they have a website
The only other thing i can think of is to scrap the case and get a new one, or if you can get the right type a different motherboard tray (as long as yours is removable)

Any chance of a photo of the clips, if they're the ones i'm thinking of they're best described as a two sided cube with (slightly) sloped sides and a round indented hole in the top. They clip into square holes in the case and you use plastic clips to go through the board. If it is these I may have some I could send you.

edit: Doh, just read your post again, have you got square holes in the m/b mounting plate then ? about 5mm accross ?

IIRC Maplin sells a 'Motherboard Mounting Kit' for a few pounds that contains those, as well as different sized mb screws, washers, ties etc.
