I have acquired the screen off a laptop, is it possibly to somehow plug it into a spare dvi port on my 8800GT?
it will need the coverters etc to actually show the picture. Its not an easy job.

Consider selling it on ebay, not sure how much it will fetch but buying new replacement laptop screens is very expensive.
If I remember correctly HP charge £350 for a replacement screen for an nx6150 which only cost £460 to buy in the first place.

yeh its amazing what a can of IPA to get a laptop working again !
THe HDD was smashed along with everything else.
