Wire

Hi
I got a couple of questions I want to ask, first is about the wire for a 4 pin molex (HDD, CDD etc). Is that wire single core because I have some power cables routing outside of my case to some EL Wire and I need to lengthen the power cables. Does anyone know a good place to get that kinda wire? (I already have a splitter cable on it and that only just reaches)
