Silverstone TJ07 and Rads
Has anyone got a Silverstone TJ07 here? I'm thinkning of getting one coz it looks like there is a prime location at the bottom of the case to mount a triple 120 rad, But looking at some photos of the case it looks like there are two HDD cages in the way? Are these easy to remove? And how easy is it to install a Swiftech Triple 120mm Radiator?
Re: Silverstone TJ07 and Rads
It's pretty much the perfect water cooling case :) Scan use it for the "White Cobra" Dream machine as do many others
It's not mine but just an example of what you can do.

Re: Silverstone TJ07 and Rads
Yep, mine is watercooled :)
Only a dual-rad atm, but it will be triple in due time. For me it is *the* perfect watercooling case :)
Re: Silverstone TJ07 and Rads
cool, one more thing, is there room in the roof to mount a dual 120 rad with out loosing the grill on the top? There doesnt look like there is a lot of room between the roof of the case and the top edge of the mobo?
Re: Silverstone TJ07 and Rads
I belive there is, though i think most people prefer to mount it at the bottom of the case.
heres a few shots from a company called beastcomputers they love using silverstone tj107 case, and just look at what they do. hopefully will give you ideas ect, maybe even tunnnel rat can help.

Re: Silverstone TJ07 and Rads
yeah i just wondered , coz if i get this case i can mount a triple rad @ the bottom, and a double rad @ the top.
Re: Silverstone TJ07 and Rads
You might be able to do it with a bit of modding, but as stock, no.
On the top left of the mobo case there is a support, the rad would hit this. If you could get it in, depending on the depth it may be stopped by anything protruding out of the mobo like capacitors. You'd get away with one of the thinner rads much easier - although there is still the support issue as above.
I may get some pics later on when I have a bit more time.
Re: Silverstone TJ07 and Rads
i suggest try asking tunnel rat he seems to know his RAD from his RAID. and knows watercooling pretty well.
Are you hoping for both CPU+VGA watercooled then?
Also what specs you lookign into for this build also would probally help.
