New case for a new system

I need help choosing a case that has good air cooling doesnt look terrible and can fit a 2GB Radeon X2 4870.

I would like to get one for less than £100 if possible.

I looked at the Antec 1200 which is a little expensive and absolutely enormous but the 900 doesnt seem big enough to fit the card in with the fan mount behind the HDD.

Also I'm in need of a powersupply if anyone has a recommendation.

    Thanks

    Coolermaster CM-690 should fit it.

Akasa's eclipse/mirage/omega (first two are much the same, the third has better cooling)

These are huge inside and will fit anything but the cooling is standard 1 120mm at the front and 1 120mm at the back.

I'd probably get a corsair 620W HX to power that monster.

Coolermaster stacker cases have been on ebuyer for around 80notes in the past, they are huge but don't exactly have sophisticated cooling.
The original cosmos is a very good case (though cable management is very fiddly) and can be had for around a ton on today only. My 4870 fits with loads of room to spare.
People rate the antec p182 highly for cooling, that's under 90quid but I don't know about its size.

The P182 is better for noise than cooling. That's not to say it doesn't make a good cooling case but with that monster card in there you would need to loose the upper HDD cage and add a 120mm in front on it.

How about the Xclio Windtunnel Extreme V2 http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=20732 and it's on offer on Scan's Today Only.

I realise that visually cases are down to personal taste, but I've never understood why people like the xclio wind cases. They just look cheap.
And does just sticking a great big fan on it actually work?

Re: New case for a new system

I would recommend the Coolermaster CM-690. It has plenty of expansion slots, internal/external drive bays and for cooling it is solid coming with three pre installed 120mm fans and the option to add up to four more. At £64.99 from scan it is a bargain and looks the part too in all black with mesh and chrome.
