    Time To Tidy My Cables

I have been, for many months, planning on tidying up my computer cables round the back of my computer desk. Now i know there are so many products out there for cable management but has anybody here tried this stuff - spiral wrap cable tidy?

Can it be used to bunch larger cables together like printer/vga monitor/mains pwr etc, or is it just for thinner cables. I need to know if it stretches much and if so, does it look tidy. I have considered just using velcro cable ties which i have seen used before until i found this stuff. I would be interested in seeing how others tidy their cables.

    Thanks in advance.

5mm expandable to accomodate wire bundles up to a total diameter of 50mm
9mm expandable to accommodate wire bundles up to a total diameter of 100mm
That sounds quite stretchy to me. 100mm would be enough for dozens of cables.

spiral wraps great for keeping it tidy, just get some tie wraps for the ends.

You can buy it in different sizes anyway, but braid is quite stretchy, and it looks a lot better/classier than spiral wrap

It's not available from that particular site, but it's readily available from any of the many stores which sell modding gear

Yeah, i was looking at that braided sleeving. Trouble is, unlike the spiral wrap, you have to cut the connectors off to get it on.

Since u guys seem to have experience with this spiral wrap, what size should i go for on the cables at the back of my computer desk?

The small or large size from the link above.

Not any more you don't - with the help of Techflex Flexowrap

And exactly which cables at the back of your computer are you on about wrapping - i.e. PSU, monitor etc?

Re: Time To Tidy My Cables

i did a mini review of the flexiwrap last night http://forums.hexus.net/chassis-syst...ml#post1505532

it does fray a lot though, so you need to tape or heatshrink the ends as you can see the mess on the video card
