    Painting a crappy case black

The front of the case is plastic and should be ok to spray black, but what about the rest of the case (top and sides) since they are steel? I wouldn't of thought I could just use the same paint, but does anyone know if it will be a problem?

I've already asked about my DVD drive here and a few people said they've done it, so I was thinking about giving it a go but doing the whole case too (obviously not the back or the bottom! ).

Suppose I could just get a new case though...

I'm respraying an old stell case soon - I sprayed the beigeness aluminium instead, but it was a bit crap, so I've attacked it with a Black and Decker sander to get right down to bare metal before I start from scratch with primer.
