CoolerMaster does it Lian li style

Hello fellow hexus viewers. check out this case coming out end of the month. it looks absolutely beutiful! its looks are very simple and slick like the lian li's but has soo many features that i cannot find one thing its missing.

From great cable management to low RPM 230mm fans that provides brillient cooling! enough talk, here are some pics and also a link to bit-tech reviewing this brillient case.

CM is definetly pushing hard in competing with the likes of Lian li and silverstone

If you look at the pics, that is a full size ATX motherboard, the case is HUGE in every aspect, and its alu. £50. I wish.

thats a mid tower case and struggles to fit large graphics cards unless u remove one of the hdd cage.

The only decent full tower cases thats below £150 thats similar tot his is a Lian li pc A70

Re: CoolerMaster does it Lian li style

I spotted this last week, forgot to post about it.

It's listed as £185 in that bit-tech review which is pricey but it's flipping massive and aluminium

There's very few cases that have full removeable motherboard trays anymore and this is one of them.
that rear fan on the tray is a 120mm fan, the top fans and front fan are 230mm fans that's how flipping big it is.

if the price tag wasn't so high I'd be getting one.

And the Lian Li A70 is only £130, and I'd take that every day of the week over this.

Re: CoolerMaster does it Lian li style

but it still lacks the high air flow of this cm840 case and doesn't have a fully removeable motherboard tray.
On the A70 the tray is just that and comes out from the side so you have to remove both side panels and take out all your pci cards before you can take the tray out.

plus it doesn't have good cable management like the 840 which has holes in the mobo tray. dont get me wrong, the A70 is a damm fine case but i would get a 840 over this any day. more features you could ever want.

price is high but have a look at the newer A70 clone and other LL cases. their over £200 http://www.yoyotech.co.uk/lianli-bla...-p-193034.html

This is the updated A70, and it's still less than the 840, and it does have holes in the mobo tray.

It's not a bad case by any means, though I'm not a fan of the looks if that matters, but it depends on what you're going for. The 840 is like the P182 - good to very good cooling performance at decent noise levels. The A70 is about decent performance while being very quiet. You just have to choose which is most important.

i do like the look of that LL A7010B better then the 840 though. wont the 230mm fans be more quiet and pull more air in and out of a case though?
