right which way do i do it?

right im adding some switches that will turn on and off the various cc's i plan to have ,to be precise im going to put a switch for the cc's in the top compatment 1 for the cc's in the bottom 1 for the uv cc's in the bottom bit and 1 for a rear exhaust uv fan

the switches are going to be put in the square bit as highlighted (the acrylic front is going to be painted black although you can hardly notice its on it in that pic :rolleyes:)

but im not sure which switches to use ,i can either do the easy way and use these key switches ,as it only requires drilling some holes

or i can do it a more complitcated way and cut out a hole thru the acrylic front make a door that drops down and have some toggle switches mouted behind it, but this means more work as id have to make something to hold the switches and mount it to the case but it may look better this way

oh and i may well add some leds to show when there on but i aint sure as that should be obvious anyway as there controling cc's :o but it might look better with em

thos key switches look ACE, but imo they whould be a pain in the ass (cos they need keys) so i'd got for the togle

wire both up in parallel, and hide the switch round the back somewhere.

Why not buy some PCI plate switches for the CCs? I've got 2 of them in my system, one to control the normal bl00 CCs, and one for my set of UV CCs......thats unless you don't have any spare PCI slots at the back left....

That toggle switch is a bit huge for the job at hand, maybe consider a 'miniature' toggle switch? Advantage of key switch is nobody but you can turn things off, disadvantage, obviously, is a key can be lost ;)

yeah - you could use the keys if "important" thinks and toggles for frequently switch things
