    Re: Lian Li PC-B70/PC-B71

Looks like a slightly enhanced version of the A97, which I have. The A97 suffers from a bit of resonating with HDD activity - if you press on or lean a 2L bottle of lemonade on the side panel, it stops.

The A71 isn't particularly worth the money. It's very roomy and looks moderately pretty, sure, but the little upgraded bits on this one don't seem that much of an improvement. A steel-sided version, with some minor practical layout changes, would be awesome. I would recommend a different case - i.e. more easily accessible fan filters, less crappy HDD mounts (though this one looks like has some kind of tray, which still probably messes up some things i.e. the T-Balancer in the 3.5" mount), side fan intakes as standard, no/less HDD resonance problems.

The one pictured definitely is not the "perfect PC case." Grade B-, needs more thought and improvements.

umm im looking to get the pc a70 case. what other cases would you recomend? The coolermaster 932HAF has the best air flow out of the lot but has no dust filters and is ugly.

    Seen this one before

Looks like a nice case, I like the felxible psu system, it can be above of below and is swapped for an additional HD cage and 120mm fan (out)
(in thoes pics the hd cage & fan is in the top slot)
The hard disk trays are said to be very good in this one, rubber gromets and a simple hooking system

Looks like an Antec 900 done Lian Li A70 style.

I'll stick with what I've got thanks. None of this compromising-not-knowing-what-it-wants-to-be lark. We've got the Coolermaster 840 covering the middle ground better than both, while not looking stupid.
