    Antec Twelve Hundred/1200

I've got a question regarding fans in the Antec 1200 and my motherboard.

I've got the GA-EP45-UD3P which only has 3 fan connectors after plugging in the CPU Cooler, and there's 8 fans in the Antec 1200.

My question is, is there a way for me to take advantage of all the fan controllers on the Antec (6 of them I believe) without having to plug all of them in the motherboard?

Many thanks, so they act as an "extension lead"? I plug one into the motherboard, one into the PSU, and then have three fan headers?

If I get two of http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Akasa...he-motherboard

I'll be able to utilise all fans?

    Many thanks again

You don't need to plug anything into the motherboard if the fans are only to be controlled externally. The motherboard connection on the Akasa simply allows you to see/control fan speed via software. I think that one provides 3 low speed connectors tho. The zalman below provides 2 low and 2 normal:

Got this case myself, and I've plugged all my fan connectors, into one another. Then plugged one end into my PSU cable with a corresponding connector. Works fine.

If the Akasa is three low speed connectors does that means that I'll not be able to fully control the Fans?
