Very sexy dude :D
I also spur-of-the-moment decided to spray my beige drive black today, the paint's still drying but pics tomorrow hopefully :)
Thanks :D
I'll await pics of yours :p
Seeing as I'll probably be buying a DVDRW sometime soon, stealthing is a better option than painting with new stuff, cos if something goes wrong and you need to RMA it, simply un-stick the drive bay covering and send off... Whereas if it's painted, you're screwed :p
Looks nice, gj. My coolermaster 220 has a nice blue door which makes all my beige drives look blue-ish.
I know :/Quote:

Yeah, I guess you've just gotta be optimistic about things, and think to yourself "This isn't gonna break!" :p
I know it's going to break, but by the time it does it will be one day outside of warranty anyway and there'll be a nice new model out which is 20 times better ;) :P
Just glued the little LED cover back on and put it back on the drive, looks much better now. I'll take a pic when I dig out the camera again :)
Yeh I wanna see your machine :p
Lol, I had visions of you with a bag marked "swag" with some cd drives sticking out....Quote:
I thought it was about time to steal my drives...
Anyhoo, good job, looks nice..
Oh nuts :o :(
Mods... Edit the title please? LOL I'm too darned stupid to do anything right... And editing it doesn't edit the main title
Ok, im draging up an old thread, but i guess thats better than starting anther one...?
Howard, i was just wondering what you used to stick them on with?
- I though some double-sided stickback foam might be ok, the highquality prit-pag like stuff.
- i want somthing with a little give, so i can press the bottom right of it to open the drive.
Daniel
Hehe my stealths have long since gone :o But if I remember correctly I used standard double-sided stickytape :)
If any of you guys are going to spray your drives i have used many times before dye you can get it from Halfords its called dashboard paint.
The dye penetrates the plastic so you can still see the decals and it does not scratch of because its in the plastic.
I have done a monitor before, scanner etc in my opinion you cant tell the difference between a factory drive and a modded one.:woowoo:
Looking good! I had a case like that and it was quality.
Stealthing drives is nice but Im more of a bezel man myself:)

Nice one Howard, I had that same case before I got my Wavemaster. I got the Coolermaster bezels like FrontSideBus pictures ^^^ and used them with the Enermax case.
FrontSideBus, do you mind telling me what make and model VFD that is you've got below the optical drive? Or did you cut a hole out of a blanking plate that came with the case? Looks sweet, i want one!
Cheers
It was probably 'vinyl dye - coz that's good for doing drives :cool:Quote:
