    What case should I get?

Need advice on what case to get I have about £60 to get a case from Scan. Reason being I bought Coolermaster Mystique 632 and my GTX280 doesn't fit in so I need one that has plenty of room.

    Thanks
    Chris

Antec 300 or Coolermaster CM690, probably the coolermaster if you can stretch to it.

Re: What case should I get?

Silverstone TJ06 you will have to wait for it to come on today only though it has bucket loads of space for graphics cards does have a rather strange layout though and Scan only have it in Silver with a window. I would show you a picture of mine but its been modded so much internally it doesn't really show what you would get. http://www.silverstonetek.com/produc...pno=tj06&area= look there for some pictures

You ay also consider the Akasa Infinity on today only for less than £60 would need to check it will fit a 280 but from its depth (540mm) I would be reasonably surprised if it didn't.

GTX280 will be more than fine in a CM690, its one of the more spacious mid tower cases there is

there is still a good inch or so before a GTX280 even hits the drive bay

I know there's quite a bit of space in there, just didn't think it was that much space.

Well as long as you have no ide drives then the cm690 or cm590 would be good

Although the antec 300 is good as well, it's a tight fit but it does fit

    Yep that's 2 gtx280 in sli

Re: What case should I get?

Nope the cooler on the old 8800gtx curved around at the back and was shorter than the pcb

It's only the new gtx2xx that have the full square cooler

only with more cards, although I think the dual gpu cards like the 9800gx2 and gtx295 need two but I'm not sure

    I've just got a CoolerMaster CM690 - great case for the money ( £42 ish + VAT & delivery from Scan ) and it's 510mm deep - 45mm more than the Antec.

    Sorry should have said CM590
