    Which case?

    Hi
What case would people recommend for me for the following system

    Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR board
Quad core q6600 OC with Ninja 2 cooler
    Inno3D GTX260-216 gfx card
    4GB Coasir XMS2 1066 RAM
    500GB Seagate HD

I am looking to spend max £60 on the case and would like one with a side panel. Keep in mind I would like to OC both CPU and GFX

    thanks

    Coolermaster CM690.
Doesn't come with a window but you can buy one for £15. Scan sometimes have it on today only for £50.

    Re: Which case?

    that looks ok.
How about the NZXT Lexa Blackline
    Is that any good?

Also would a 650W PSU be enough for future GTX285 upgrade?

    Re: Which case?

I have a Lexa, it is pretty good in my opinion, only the usb ports broke. NZXT support is something that could be improved though. The I/O ports at the front broke on mine and I emailed their support and never got a response. Your best bet is to go the their forums and make a post, then your bound to get what you want foc.

Bad camera phone is bad. But you get the idea.

    Re: Which case?

    Nice case.

I would definitely consider getting one where the PSU is at the bottom though. Great for cooling etc.

    Re: Which case?

The Alpha dont appeal to me. Dont really think it will be a good case for cooling.

And the Antec is good but I would prefer a screwless design. The Coolermaster CM690 looks good but I read that it comes with a 2 pin power connector when most motherboards have 3 pin. Would I just need to buy a 3 pin connector instead if I went for that case?

Umm if you're talking about the fans, the cm fans are 3pin and come with a 4pin molex adaptor so they can be connected directly to the psu or the motherboard.
main bad thing it the cm690 only comes with 3 fans, you don't need a fan in every place but I would consider getting 2 additional fans for the top.

CM does also sell a version of the 690 with a window side panel and also sell the window side panel seperately.

    Re: Which case?

I've been looking for some good cases for under £50 and found a few good ones on ebuyer. I'm looking for one that has a window on the side and doesn't look like a plain case. Will continue my search...
