    CM Sniper watercooled

As folk on here may know I had problems with my air cooler so I thought I would jump in at the deep end and try watercooling - this is how it came out. It's being leak checked atm so not quite finished but 95% there.

    Heres all the bits

    and in detail

First off the top 200mm fan needs moving to the side panel to make space for the radiator, it goes into the space seen here with the top removed.

This is the mess on the floor

and the side fan fitted with some bolts I found

Unfortunately the bolts I have weren't the correct size to fit fans in a push/pull configuration to the radiator so I ended up making some spacers from wall plugs

Fitted like this - not pretty but they work

Even though I measured all parts before I bought them I never thought they would be this tight. Hopefully the ram won't need to comeout anytime soon

With the radiator in place I get my next problem: the top won't go back down!!! Well done Coolermaster on designing a case to fit a 240mm radiator as long as you don't need to fit fans comfortably. Desperate times call for desperate measures so out comes the dremel.

    Before

    After

With that sorted onto the electical side (and theres more to come than shown in the picture)

    Re: CM Sniper watercooled

Rewiring had to take place so I can easily fit the side panel with the new fan

I should have spent more time on this as it looks pretty rough but the mod does work

Finally the watercooling parts which went in surprisingly quickly

Last but not least some UV goodness

    Re: CM Sniper watercooled

For the watercooling bits a little over £200. I may be lapping the CPU next as its got a hell of a concave top and I should really route the PSU cables through the hole at the back and to the left to make it look a little cleaner but otherwise I'm pretty happy with the results.
