I have "a project", but not a log (yet!).Originally Posted by David
I have two projects, if you include my plan to build a Chu Moy headphone amp (penguin peppermint tins on order!).
I have several projects ongoing, although no computers at the moment. I'm currently building a subwoofer, just waiting on some parts to finish. Then I will build chasis for my homemade amplifiers, then it's on to a nice set of TL speakers.
Ooh TeePee Pics of subwoofer? Specs? Driver/amp used? I'm into all this kinda crap
My only current "Project" is an on-going one... I'm constantly modifying various aspects of my computer.
My subwoofer was a project, but it's done now

Well to be honest I bought the basic built box from eBay and spent an awful lot of time making it nice, getting rid of imperfections, making it sound good (with my very limited budget!), etc

The driver is a Dayton 15" DVC from www.partsexpress.com It's a clone of the Adire Audio Tempest, which sells in this country for more than twice the price. It will be powered by a 250W plate amp. I've built the box myself. It's a 214 litre internal (huge) ported box tuned to about 19Hz. It's made from 25mm MDF, veneered in oregon pine which is then dyed black and varnished. No pics until it's finished!
Christ! Yours is considerably more up-market than mine. Got any pics?

I really want to make myself a decent case as its the worst thing I have, so thats next
Would you like a project log forum to have your own threads on your specific things?
That'd be good. I'm a big fan of following other people's mods with plenty of pics, and I'd like somewhere to put mine, if I could just find somewhere to upload my pics to.
Theres not enough demand for its own forum it would just seem empty imho
Maybe as a seperate lil bit like the hexus pit stop forum in cars and bikes as that way the logs wouldn't have to get bumped in here everytime theres an update and then disappear
Seems to work quite well on Bit-Tech, Knoxy!
