Question Help with Coolermaster Scout Case

    Evening all!

I need help finding dust filters for 120mm fans (for the side panel) on the scout case.

I also need help choosing the optional fans. The 120mm AKASA AK-274CR-4RDS Crystal RED 4 LED fan - sleeve bearing and 120mm Coolermaster SilentInternal Case Fan with Red LED Quiet 22db both have red LEDs (both from scan). The scout case has a button on the front that turns the Red LEDs on and off but if I were to add one or two more, is there any way to connect the LEDs to the button to turn them on and off too?

Otherwise, I would only get a non-LED one - any advise?

    Cheers,

    $eamonk3y

Re: Help with Coolermaster Scout Case

You won't be able to turn them off.

Coolermasters LED fans are very quiet though, AKASA's aren't.

Sharkoon Eagle/Golf Balls are good quiet fans on the cheap.

Dust filters.. well you can always do clunks trick and uses tights cut out to fit lol

Re: Help with Coolermaster Scout Case

Coolermaster do fans with seperate on/off leds, but only in blue and connected to a back plate
Although you should be able to wire them up to a switch if you're ok with case modding.

next best thing would be look for a fan with red blades but not LEDs eg

or cheaper and said to be good

Re: Help with Coolermaster Scout Case

Thanks - really helpful - I'm not up to case modding yet so I'll get one with red blades.
