Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
Right, loads of research, loads of questions, loads of money...............................
It's all starting today, Tom over @ Chilled PC has been great in looking after me and I received the very first part of my order in the post just now - a handful of barbs and some instructions for my never before watercooled ultra original, slightly customised
Silverstone TJ07:o
But before I start (and this is going to take a while with work/other commitmemts!!!) I just thought I would give you an idea of where I am starting from. I have been building Pc's for about 10 years, and aprt from an experement with an asutek Waterchill kit they have all been aircooled. The current build is a slightly untidy CM Stacker MK1. Recently I have been getting more into the idea of silent computing - but still wanted to overclock so when I had a little spare cash I thought i'd buy a new case (lusted after a TJ07 for ages) and a few quiet fans...............
Well 2 months later and I have bought a new case, and comprehensive W/C setup:scared: How does it always end up like that !!
Anyways thats where I am - this is what I will be replacing:

Will update when the other bits are all here :001_cool:
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
OK so in between doing some decorating the box turned up. I was in the shed - it is so large/heavy that the delivery driver offered to carry it upstairs for my other half!!!
If you haven't seen the box to a TJ07 you may be suprised:

and just to put it to scale (he is quite large :D)

Will open up and look at all the goodies later....................(very excited now!!!)
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
Please feel free to comment or tell me where I may be going wrong.
So this is the kit (almost all here, just waiting for a couple of bits to come into stock)

So now I just have to get some time together so I can start the build - such a shame time is so limited!!!
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
How the hell did he fit ALL that inside that case!!!
Is that case really a black hole!

Ok - not the Aquero I got that from Scan:O_o1:
But I was quite shocked, I may rename it to "TJ07 of Holding+3"
Each time I picked out a box there was another inside or in each 'baggie' there were two more!!!
And I guess that it is black and without a side panel it is technically a hole so you could call it that yes.
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
Yeah I hate that... my build photos (see my current project, below) has the same problem, how precisely do I fit all of those into the case.

Hehe - we were talking about how Tom at Chilled PC fitted all my bits (that I had bought from him) INSIDE the case for shipping, I think the TJ07 should be up to holding all my gear:mrgreen:
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
You'll enjoy it, the tj07 is a great case for watercooling, just take it slow and easy.
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
Hehe... Undectable Expansion Charm?

You should of taken photos of that! :surprised:
I for one would of loved to have seen it, esp unpacking in stages.
And good luck with the water cooling build, that's still one area I've yet to venture into.

Hehe, I should have done that it was very creativley put together. But TBH I had waited about 4 hours with the box in my lounge while decorating and was a bit overexcited by the time it came to opening it. Didn't really realise what a feat it was until I laid it all out!!!!
BTW thanks for the luck - I think I may need it:)
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
Good to see you have all the bits for your new build.
Wishing you luck and if you need help, then you only have to ask.

As always thanks m8 and i'm sure I will have the odd question:)
In fact heres one, would I benefit from some silver in the loop if I am using Primochill Ice?
Re: Vapouriser, My Very First Watercooled PC........
Silver can't do any harm, ICE already has anti algae stuff in it iirc, but for extra protection, why not.
